My solace is gone
My heart feels dead,
It’s gone forever,
Forevermore fled.

His absence is
To me a grave;
The world seems lifeless
Without his gaze.

Each pining thought
Weighs on my pate;
All of my senses
Fight to escape.

My solace is gone
My heart feels dead,
It’s gone forever,
Forevermore fled.

I look through my window,
Now only for him;
I walk through the door
To see only him.

Those lofty steps,
His head high raised,
Those smiling lips—
That powerful gaze.

His sweet voice flows
Like a magical stream,
He holds my hand tight,
His kiss is a dream!

My solace is gone
My heart feels dead,
It’s gone forever,
Forevermore fled.

My frame is on fire,
Burning for him:
Oh, I’d grip him tight,
And never lose him,

I would kiss him,
Let my desires fly,
And on his kisses,
There I would die.
