About Emily E. Stelzer

Dr. Emily Stelzer is Professor of Literature and Dean of the Core Curriculum at Houston Christian University. Her research focuses on John Milton, William Shakespeare, and Menippean Satire. She is the author of "Gluttony and Gratitude: Milton’s Philosophy of Eating" (2018) and has contributed chapters to various scholarly works. She has also published articles and review essays in Religion & Literature, Appositions, Early Modern English Studies, Early Modern Literary Studies, and the Ben Jonson Journal .Dr. Stelzer received her MA and PhD in Literature from the University of Dallas and her BA in English from Hillsdale College.
