Ryan Hess is an alumnus of Wyoming Catholic College, where his studies culminated in his thesis titled: “El Que no Está en el Verso: Borges’ Search for Beauty Beyond Being.” Mr. Hess’ thesis explores the strong similarities between Jorge Luis Borges’ puzzling short stories and the philosophy of Saint Augustine as handed down from Plotinus and others.
