About Peter Beaulieu

Peter D. Beaulieu is the author of Kristi: So Thin is the Veil (2006), Beyond Secularism and Jihad: A Triangular Inquiry into the Mosque, the Manger and Modernity (2012), and A Generation Abandoned: Why “Whatever” is not Enough (2017). He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree (1967) and an interdisciplinary doctorate in Urban and Regional Planning (1975), both from the University of Washington. He was born in 1944 on the Manhattan Project’s Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington state, and raised in the supporting bedroom community. A Vietnam veteran, as a junior naval officer, Mr. Beaulieu also took part in the Pacific recoveries of the Apollo XI and XII astronauts in 1969.
