About Dan Murphy

Dan Murphy teaches at Western Academy, an all-male, Catholic school in Houston, Texas. He teaches math, science, and Latin in the middle school as well as an advanced math class to 5th graders. Mr. Murphy received a liberal arts education at Trivium High School in Lancaster, MA. He attended the University of Notre Dame, graduating in 2009 with a B.S. in Physics. He subsequently worked as a Research Technician at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City for three years. He holds an M.S. in Applied Physics from Rice University.
